Hoping I can plow thru some laundry before heading to the store to get everything I need for 4 classes! :) I will get some pictures posted soon. I just got my camera back. Well...gotta run!

Fried Dill Pickles
For all of you who asked about our fried pickles. Here is the recipe I used. They are kind of salty. I suggest you eat them with something, but Jason loves them just like they are.

1 egg, beaten1 c. milk1 tbsp. flour1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce6 drops hot sauce3/4 tsp. salt3/4 tsp. pepper3 1/2 c. flour1 qt. sliced dill picklesWesson oil for deep frying
Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring well. Set aside. Combine 3 1/2 cups flour, salt and pepper, stirring well. Dip pickles in milk mixture and dredge in flour mixture, repeat process. Deep fry in hot oil, 350 degrees until pickles float to surface and are golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Christmas Pictures
Friday, December 26, 2008
By the way...
I asked the children what the true meaning of Christmas is and this is their responses:
Trevor: "It's about Jesus being born and He was meant to die on the cross and become the Savior which is Christ the Lord."
Brittany: "It's about celebrating Jesus' birthday and giving other than receiving. Jesus was born in a manger so that we may not perish but have everlasting life."
Zachary: "It's a birthday party for Jesus."
I think they get it! :)

Sorry to all my many blog readers (chuckle)! I am still alive. I have been babysitting and cleaning houses for extra money in order to get the kids school supplies. School is ready to start again! Can you believe it! Time flies so fast!
Anyhow, we have our tax free holiday next weekend and I am geard up ready to go. If you have any coupon info or valuable money saving advice...let me know!
