For all of you who asked about our fried pickles. Here is the recipe I used. They are kind of salty. I suggest you eat them with something, but Jason loves them just like they are.
FRIED DILL PICKLES
1 egg, beaten1 c. milk1 tbsp. flour1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce6 drops hot sauce3/4 tsp. salt3/4 tsp. pepper3 1/2 c. flour1 qt. sliced dill picklesWesson oil for deep frying
Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring well. Set aside. Combine 3 1/2 cups flour, salt and pepper, stirring well. Dip pickles in milk mixture and dredge in flour mixture, repeat process. Deep fry in hot oil, 350 degrees until pickles float to surface and are golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Christmas Pictures
Friday, December 26, 2008
By the way...
I asked the children what the true meaning of Christmas is and this is their responses:
Trevor: "It's about Jesus being born and He was meant to die on the cross and become the Savior which is Christ the Lord."
Brittany: "It's about celebrating Jesus' birthday and giving other than receiving. Jesus was born in a manger so that we may not perish but have everlasting life."
Zachary: "It's a birthday party for Jesus."
I think they get it! :)
