In Loving Memory
My Aunt Kathy was killed in a car accident on Veteran's Day. Such a beautiful person to be killed in such a tragic way, by a drunk driver no less. The drunk driver was finally picked up last week and arrested for manslaughter. We do pray that she sees the error of her ways. Please continue to pray for my cousins(she had four children), and also for my uncle who was also in the accident. He is still in the hospital and was hurt badly.

All three together
Granny's Fall Festival
My Aunt Betty Hollis had a small fall festival at her house Saturday night. There was face painting, go fish, the cupcake game(eat a whole cupcake with no hands, cake walk, bobbing for apples, hayride, basketball and then a big bonfire with some good old gospel singing. We all had a blast! Here are a few pcitures of the kids having some fun!

Thanks for the responses!
Thanks so much to you girls who responded to my cries of help. It makes me feel better just knowing that others face these issues too! I tend to agree with you all, I don't need anything else added to my day and neither do the kids. We are going to try cub scouts for Trevor, but his Daddy is going to be taking him to his meetings. He begged and pleaded to join, so we gave in. I think it will be good for him, for he is in the whining stage. I think all first graders go through this. My daughter, second grade going on college, is going through a know-it-all phase. I didn't think they did this until teenage years. We are in the process of nipping that in the bud! I'm trying not to fall asleep while waiting for my husbands work uniforms to wash so I can put them into the dryer. Ugh! I would've already had it done, but I was up all night last night with Zachary because he was running a fever and couldn't sleep. He was much better this evening.

Would someone help me please?
There just doesn't seem to be enough time in day to do all that seems necessary. I do a few errands a week for folks that can't get out, I help out by cleaning a few houses, when I really should be cleaning my own! And I just accepted a position at the school for after school care. And then I think, its all I can do to get the kids baths and homework in the evenings along with cooking dinner, doing dishes and laundry. Then I feel the pressure to put my kids into cheerleading, basketball, football or whatever.... Are we really missing out on the good things in life by not planning and adding to our daily schedules, or are we missing out by not doing more? What's your opinion? If I didn't have so much to do right now, I might sit down and figure it out for myself!

I've Been Tagged!
I was tagged by Kim to post 7 random things about myself, so here goes:
1. I have major issues with animals inside someone's home.
2. I have even more major issues if you want me to eat something you cooked while animals were present in your home. :)
3. I will not drink or eat after anyone......I sound quite like a lunatic I know.
4. I have problems with keeping my laundry done!
5. I love to cook(and eat too, unfortunately).
6. I secretly long to have more people post comments on my blog! :0
7. When my kids are grown, I would love to own my own Florist shop.

Prayer for Wisdom
"Lord, one day when I am a Mother-in-law, please help me to remember what it was like to be a daughter-in-law"! ~me
A Woman After God's Own Heart
Time flies so fast! I last posted on the third and here it is the 14th already!!! Zachary's third birthday is coming up in October(so is Jason's). It's hard to believe that Zac will be three already! He is now officially potty-trained. Praise the Lord!!!! I think I am just as proud of myself as I am of him! :) Because I worked when Brittany and Trevor were little, I don't remember alot of their training( I was so tired I think I slept trough it!). For those of you who don't know, Brittany and Trevor are a little less than 10 months apart. I nursed them both and worked a fulltime job. So really and truly I don't remember much of when they were babies. It's sad to think of really and so I try not to dwell on it much. You do what you have to do in life to make ends meet, and I am so thankful I can now be at home for all of them. If you are a WIFE , I highly recommend the book "A WOMAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART", by Elizabeth Gregory. It will inspire and motivate you when you feel like nothing else will. If you are interested in reading this book, it is on sale at the Family Christian Stores right now, for around $8 and it is also at Wal-Mart for around $10. It's AWESOME!!

So Aunt T spilled the beans....yep, Britt had a bad bike wreck. Sutures and multiple xrays kept us in the er for about 5 hours. She looks as if she had been in a car accident, when we went to the pediatrician's office she was actually confused with another child who HAD been in a car accident! Sprained thumb and stitches were what we left with, thank God no broken bones. She still loves her bike and plans to hit that hill again as soon as I will let her!

Zachary is dying to go to school. He was so jealous when the kids got out of the car. As you can see he carried his froggy backpack. He fell asleep on it, and I couldn't resist taking this picture. As I pull around the building I always say" you guys ready?" and when I stop the car in front of their classroom I say " okay hop!" and Zac cried " Zac hop too?" I hope he is this excited about school when it's his time to start!!
So here are my two not- so- little munchkins on their first day of school. They still look a little sleepy! But they have adjusted to their old routines quite well. Brittany is in second grade and Trevor is in first. Bible Methodist is actually combining these two grades right now. So Trevor is excited about being in the same grade with his big sister. We will soon see if that excitement fades ...I can hear it now "Trevor got in trouble today!" in a little sing song tattle tale voice!!!! It may actually be the other way around! Brittany can be a little stinker sometimes!!!!

This is the other cutie pie, Chryslyn. She is nine months old, her sister is about to turn 2 and her little brother is about to turn 4. Some think that I'm out of my mind to keep 3 when I already have three, but I have moments of insanity where I actually volunteer to do these things! I think the mormons have it made where they have all of those wives...just think there is someone to do all the laundry, someone else to do the cooking and etc. !!! Some days I would love to have an extra hand. That's why I love it when Teresa or Kim calls me...then it's like having them here at the house with me. I miss you guys!!!!
This is Alanah..... Jason's cousin's little girl. I kept her, and her brother and sister the other...making for a grand total of 6 kids! It turned out to be just another day. It gave my kids someone each to play with. It's wierd to think that adding three actually made it easier!.....But NO I will not be having three more kids just so that they can have playmates!!! She is a cutie!

We are in Vacation Bible School this week at Golden Grove Bible Methodist Church. The kids have been loving it! Anyhow, don't know who all I have mentioned this to, but our Nazarene church is closing! We are so sad to see it close, but looking ahead to what God has in store for us next! So pray for us as we search for our new church home. It may be at Golden Grove, but we have not decided yet.

We found an awesome deal on tickets to Universal Orlando and the Islands of Adventure, so that is where we went each day that we were there. We figured out that if we went every evening at 6 the parking was free and it still gave us 4 hours of fun. Not to mention it wasn't as crowded at that time and not as hot. Here is a picture of Zac perched atop his daddy's shoulders. Jason said his choulders now carry the perfect indention of Zac's be-hind! He refused to pack the stroller before we left, so this is where Zac sat every day!
Okay, so we just returned from our vacation to Orlando Florida this past Saturday. I have been so busy trying to get us all unpacked and getting ready for school that I have not attempted to post until now. Then I realized I forgot my blogger password. Call me airhead or what you wish, I choose to think that it is from being overwhelmed........ (or maybe I should resign to the fact that I can be a little airheaded sometimes!) Anyhow, I am going to attempt uploading some photos for your enjoyment. I am not computer illiterate, just still on dial-up!
